Last night Brad Marchand was injured by a big hit from Panthers' Sam Bennett. Today Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery provided a major update on the health of Brad Marchand.

Brad Marchand is looked at as one of the most key pieces of the Boston Bruins this season. He and David Pastrnak are the engine that gets the Bruins offense going. During Game 3 Brad Marchand was taken out on a huge and questionable hit from Sam Bennett.
Unfortunately, after a new update from head coach Jim Montgomery the Bruins might need to find a way to survive without Brad Marchand who is day to day with an injury. While confirming Brad Marchand's injury status Jim Montgomery also put down Sam Bennett for his actions.
Boston coach Jim Montgomery said Marchand is day-to-day with an upper-body injury, but was upset about the hit and apparent punch from Sam Bennett — adding there's a history with him and «evidence of what went on.»

Florida's Paul Maurice defended his player, saying he didn't see it the same way.
Despite Jim Montgomery's displeasure, Sam Bennett will be playing in Game 4 for the Florida Panthers while Brad Marchand might be watching from the press box. The two sides are set to faceoff on Sunday as the puck drop gets closer we will get a clearer picture of Brad Marchand's true status for the game.
