Flyers face NHLPA grievance over Ryan Johansen's contract termination
The NHLPA has filed a grievance on behalf of defenseman Ryan Johansen after the Philadelphia Flyers terminated his contract during the offseason due to a breach of contract.

Yet Ryan isn't letting the organization get away easily, as his claims for why he should receive his pay is due to the controversial way the injury and failed physical were handled. However, the Flyers side presents a different scenario. They believe the reason why Johansen doesn't deserve to be part of their organization is because he made his existing ankle injury worse while hoverboarding.
