Two more players have been cut by the Vancouver Canucks. This time around, it's Guillaume Brisebois and Jett Woo who will no longer be on the team.

Via Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Vancouver Canucks have put defensemen Guillaume Brisebois and Jett Woo on waivers. They are the first non-waiver exempt cuts of the NHL training camp season. Other teams now have 24 hours to put in a claim on either, after which they will be sent to the AHL's Abbotsford Canucks if neither is claimed.

Brisebois, 27, has been part of the Canucks organization his entire career. He was selected in the third round of the 2015 draft and appeared in only eight games last season due to an upper-body injury. The defenseman has played 27 NHL games, including 17 this season, where he recorded one goal and two assists. He has also appeared in 249 AHL games, where he has recorded 60 points and a +31 rating.

Woo, 24, again finds himself on waivers. The second-round pick from 2018 has yet to make his NHL debut. He has spent four seasons with Vancouver's AHL affiliates, notching 65 points in 200 games. Coming off a career-high 31-point season, Woo could find himself being a candidate for a mid-season call-up if injuries hit the Canucks blue line.

The Vancouver Canucks will face the Seattle Kraken tomorrow night, and it will be interesting to see if the team decides to make another round of cuts immediately or not. Fans will surely be keeping a close eye.
