Major Turnaround for the Carolina Hurricanes and Antti Raanta

The Carolina Hurricanes have recalled veteran goaltender Antti Raanta from the AHL, relegating Yaniv Perets to the ECHL.

Raanta briefly played with the Chicago Wolves, forcing Perets' recall from the ECHL's Norfolk Admirals to the NHL.
The 23-year-old goaltender, a standout at Quinnipiac University, didn't get any playing time with the Hurricanes, however.
Carolina will face the Predators in Nashville before hosting the Montreal Canadiens, preparing for these upcoming showdowns.
