The news has rarely been good for the Ottawa Senators in 2023-24, and on Monday, it was confirmed that they've suffered another major loss this season.

Former first-round pick Josh Norris out for the season

After playing in just 8 games a season ago for the Senators due to injury, Josh Norris is now officially done again in 2023-24 after recently undergoing shoulder surgery.
Josh Norris has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery.
The 24-year old finally began to show consistency and production this season, tallying 16 goals and 30 points in 50 games played, but the former first-round pick just can't seem to catch a break.
Ottawa may be done this season, as they currently sit in last place in the Atlantic Division, but with plenty of talent up and down the roster, they'll be hoping Norris can get back to full health in 2024-25 as they aim to finally make a playoff run after years of high expectations.
