San Jose Sharks sign top young prospect Collin Graf

In a move that has sparked excitement throughout San Jose, Collin Graf is set to join the Sharks on an entry-level contract. The talented undrafted forward, garnered interest from over 20 NHL teams, before making his decision.

Graf's entry-level contract comes into effect immediately , as he's expected to go straight into the show at some point during these final couple weeks of the season. After scoring 22 goals, and registering 49 points in just 34 games with Quinnipiac this season, the 21-year-old is poised to make an immediate impact in the NHL.
San Jose's Assistant General Manager, Mike Grier, deserves commendation for securing Graf's signature, as it bolsters a pool that also includes Boston College star Will Smith.
The decision-making process wasn't easy for Graf, who recently engaged in Zoom calls with six NHL teams. However, he ultimately chose San Jose, recognizing it as the best opportunity for his career advancement.
Graf's had 108 points accumulated over 75 games played with the Quinnipiac Bobcats. Notably, his overall game has seen significant improvement this season, particularly in terms of physicality, setting the stage for an impactful stint with the Sharks.
As Graf prepares to lace up for the San Jose Barracuda in the AHL, hockey fans eagerly anticipate his arrival and the potential he brings to the franchise.
With his experience as a national champion and his unwavering determination, Graf is poised to thrive in his new role and make his mark in San Jose.
