Noah Gregor, the only player who signed a Professional Tryout with the Toronto Maple Leafs this summer, called out the fanbase of his former organization in a recent interview.

The Leafs had a morning skate earlier today ahead of their second pre-season game against the Ottawa Senators set for tonight.

Among the participants was Noah Gregor, who will wear the Leafs' uniform for the first time tonight.

After the practice, he made a statement regarding the level of attendance at the practice.

Gregor Calls Out Sharks Fanbase After Packed Morning Skate

Gregor met with the media after the practice, and he made the following declaration when he was asked to share his thoughts about the level of attendance at his first official morning skate in Toronto:

"This would be a packed playoff game in San Jose."

Toronto is the biggest hockey market in the NHL. San Jose, on the other hand, is much smaller.

The Maple Leafs hold a significant place in the community, and there's a lot of media coverage of the organization. Many reporters come out for morning skates, something we don't see as often in San Jose.

Saying that a pre-season game in Toronto attracts as many people as a playoff game in San Jose might not be well received by fans of his former team, but the truth hurts sometimes.
