Colton Parayko has been one of this off-season's hottest trade pieces, and now all signs are pointing to a bidding war for the talented defenseman.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have upgraded their blue line in a big way this summer, adding the veteran duo of Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Chris Tanev, but Brad Treliving may not be done with training camp approaching. According to speculation, the team are now continuing to monitor the situation of Colton Parayko in St. Louis, with insider David Pagnotta linking them, alongside Calgary and Ottawa to the veteran blue liner.
Parayko's name continues to swirl around the trade winds, as it has for the last two seasons. He has a full NTC and five more years left on his contract. It'll take a big deal, and his approval, to make something happen, but the Blues are exploring their options and seem set on moving at least one of their defenceman this off-season.

To make this deal happen, the team would likely need to move one of their talented prospects alongside defenseman Timothy Liljegren, who was handed a two-year extension by the team this off-season. In all 82 games a year ago, Parayko tallied a solid 10 goals and 26 points with the struggling St. Louis Blues, but with a +4 differential, he's shown just how influential he can be on games.
At 31-years of age, Parayko still has plenty of career ahead of him, and if the Maple Leafs can add him alongside their loaded forward group, it would be a huge add for Brad Treliving.
