Maple Leafs and Canadiens Prospect Showcase off to heated start as Xhekaj and Sharpe throw hands to start game
The long and historic rivalry between the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs is in full swing already as Florian Xhekaj and Chas Sharpe have already thrown hands within minutes of the Prospect Showcase.
About two minutes into the game, Florian, the younger brother of the Canadiens' Arber Xhekaj decided to spark things early as he decided to drop the mitts with Leafs prospect Chas Sharpe after a brief scuffle in front of the net.
Sharpe is a 6'3 defenseman who recently played for the Mississauga Steelheads and Florian stands in at a hefty 6'4 in a battle of heavyweights.
