William Nylander joined his teammates in the Toronto Maple Leafs' practice ahead of the second game against the Boston Bruins.
After a lot of speculation surrounding the Nylander's status for the second game between the Leafs and the Bruins, a major development indicates he could be back on the lineup on Monday night.
The Swedish forward was at his team's practice in a blue jersey:
"An encouraging sign for the Leafs: William Nylander is on the ice for the morning skate ahead of Game 2."
There's been a lot of mystery concerning Nylander's injury since the season ended. The Leafs didn't mind resting injured players in the last few games of the regular season, but Nylander played all 82 games. However, his four-points tally of the last 10 games of the season could indicate that he played with an injury.
With Sheldon Keefe sharing almost no informations about his players' injuries, don't expect any more details coming from the organization about Nylander's health.
UPDATE: a new report suggests that Nylander won't take part in tonight's game, as he wasn't a part of the line rushes this morning:
"BREAKING: William Nylander is not participating in line rushes during morning skate.
Nylander projects to be out as the Leafs are expected to play with the same lines as Game 1. ❌
