It was fight night in Winnipeg, courtesy of Keegan Kolesar of the Vegas Golden Knights.

Thursday's game between the Winnipeg Jets and Vegas Golden Knights got heated, and not just because it was a big game as the two Western Conference foes battle for playoff position, especially for Jets defenseman Logan Stanley. He dropped the gloves for the second time, squaring off against Keegan Kolesar from the Golden Knights.
Stanley has squared off against with Corey Perry during Tuesday's game against the Edmonton Oilers, and here he was, back at it again. While Kolesar might be challenging, standing at 6'7", Stanley is at a different imposing level.

Logan Stanley Drops Gloves for Second Game in a Row:

Now, fights in hockey can be a bit of a divisive topic among fans. Some are all for it, while others think there's no room for that in the game anymore. Yet, everyone in the building was cheering Stanley on as he skated off the ice after the scuffle.
With so much support behind him, maybe we'll start seeing more players drop the gloves as we get closer to the playoffs.
As for the game, Ivan Barbashev stole the show for the Vegas Golden Knights with two goals in the third period.
His first goal came at 14:31 of the third period when he scored with a backhand off a pass from Anthony Mantha. Then, just to put the nail in the coffin, he scored again at 18:15 with an empty-netter.
Then, Jack Eichel decided to join the party and scored into another empty net at 19:26, making it a 4-1 final score in favor of the Golden Knights. The other Vegas player to get on the Baird was Pavel Dorofeyev, who also got on the scoresheet for Vegas. Between the pipes, goalie Logan Thompson stood tall and made 39 saves. With this win, Vegas moved one point ahead of the Los Angeles Kings for third place in the Pacific Division.
