The Bruins and the Penguins played a wild game tonight. The Bruins took an early 2-0 lead but the Penguins scored four straight to take a two-goal lead into the first intermission. The scoring was not done there though.

Bruins Make Dramatic Comeback Against Penguins

The Bruins were playing from behind for most of the game but that did not stop them from putting in their best effort. The team kept themselves in the game with a steady drip of offense coming from all over the lineup.
The comeback was capped off by this beautiful effort from Brad Marchand, who beat Kris Letang in a one on one battle shorthanded to tie the game.

Crosby Comes Through To Shut Down Dramatic Bruins Comeback

Unfortunately for the Bruins, Marchand's goal to tie the game at 5 would be their last. With a little under nine minutes left in the game, Penguins captain Sidney Crosby would respond with his own clutch goal, to restore the one-goal lead for him team. The Penguins would go on to win the rollercoaster-like matchup 6-5.
The Penguins will need to hold onto leads better than this if they are serious about making a playoff push this season. So far the team has been stuck in between the bottom of the standings and being a genuine playoff threat. All eyes will be on Kyle Dubas as we approach the trade deadline.
