The #Flames have claimed defenceman Brayden Pachal off of waivers
Pachal, an undrafted signing, has worked his way up and played 29 games with the Golden Knights over the past couple of seasons. He was the captain of their AHL team in Henderson before spending last year's Stanley Cup run on the NHL roster and lifting the cup.
He will come to Calgary which is clamoring for more young talent on defense. This move could also indicate that the Flames are looking to move more players before the NHL trade deadline.
As the trade deadline approaches it will be fascinating to see if this move affects what moves the Calgary Flames make.
