It has just been reported that the Carolina Hurricanes may be considering a massive change to their franchise that could change the way they look for the future.
Hurricanes Reportedly Considering Rebrand With New Logo
The Carolina Hurricanes are one of the NHL's more interesting teams. With a smaller market in North Carolina, they have done some interesting things to attract new fans to the game, most notably the Storm Surge at the end of games.
Now, it appears they may be considering an even bigger change to the franchise, altering the Hurricanes logo. This rebrand could offer some intrigue to new fans at the right time, as the Hurricanes continue to get better year after year.
Apparently the Hurricanes are considering a new logo! What do you guys think?
A few of the logos clearly play off the existing Hurricanes logo, however, some of the Carolina-focused logos are a departure from the Hurricane that currently marks Carolina's jerseys.
Hurricanes Gearing Up for Post-Season With Big Trade Deadline
The hype is real for the Hurricanes, who made more moves at this year's deadline to gear up for the postseason. The Hurricanes were able to trade for the highly sought-after Jake Guentzel from the Pittsburgh Penguins, bringing in the star to help boost their chances at a long postseason this year.
The Hurricanes will take on the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight for Hockey Night in Canada, and we will see if the hype around the team's potential new logo can carry over into post-season success.
