A massive trade has gone down today involving a top 10 pick from the 2023 NHL Draft.

Red Wings Top 10 Pick Traded

Earlier today a trade involving Detroit Red Wings top prospect Nate Danielson was completed. Danielson who currently plays in the WHL was traded between teams in the league ahead of the deadline. Danielson will head to the Portland Winterhawks from the Brandon Wheat Kings.
TRADE ALERT: The Wheat Kings have traded Nate Danielson to the Portland Winterhawks in exchange for forward Nicholas Johnson, defenseman Rhett Ravndahl, a first round pick in 2025 and 2027, and a fifth round pick in 2026.
Danielson will now head to the Winterhawks who are heading to the WHL playoffs in a few weeks. He will likely slot in on the first or second line and bring a massive boost to both ends of the rink.
