The Detroit Red Wings are going through a rough patch, having lost their last six games. This has unfortunately nudged them out of a playoff spot. The mood in the locker room has hit a low, and tensions boiled over during a practice yesterday.

In a recent interview, veteran player Patrick Kane weighed in on the situation. He explained how he fells about the team's struggles and what went down at practice:
"I don't think it's a bad thing. I'd be more worried if we were walking around here all smiles, happy and everything's okay. I think it's good to get a little frustrated as long as you harness it in the right way. Frustration can create a lot of positive energy as well, whether it's practicing like you play, or just playing harder tomorrow."

Patrick Kane, at 35 years old, has an impressive record of 32 points in 34 games this season. With years of experience in the NHL, Kane is looked up to for his maturity and leadership in the locker room. Let's hope he can lead the team out of that losing-streak, which could happen tonight against the Arizona Coyotes.
Do you think Patrick Kane will play with the Red Wings next season?
