Earlier this morning it was announced that the Montreal Canadiens have quickly signed Sean Monahan's replacement.

Kent Hughes brings up Brandon Gignac from the AHL

After the Sean Monahan trade to the Winnipeg Jets, the Montreal Canadiens had only 2 rostered centres in the lineup. Well that has now changed after Kent Hughes has signed Brandon Gignac from the AHL. Gignac had a stellar season in the AHL and only played one game for the New Jersey Devils.
We wish him the best in this journey!
