New Jersey Devils announce Jack Hughes is out for the season

New Jersey Devils star Jack Hughes doubled over in disappointment and pain during a Devils road game.

This afternoon the New Jersey Devils announced that their star forward Jack Hughes will miss the remainder of the season. According to the announcement, Jack Hughes will have surgery for an upper-body injury.

A post on X today by the New Jersey Devils confirmed that after consultation with several doctors, the team medical staff, and his family Jack Hughes has decided to have season-ending shoulder surgery.
#NEWS: In recent conversations with Jack, his family and representatives, and the Devils' athlete care staff, it was determined that Jack should be held out of game action for the rest of this season and proceed with shoulder surgery.

He will undergo the surgery on April 10 and is expected to make a full recovery to be available for 2024 New Jersey Devils Training Camp.
While the exact recovery time for Jack Hughes' injury is unknown it is good to hear that he is expected to return for training camp next season.
