The New York Rangers started 2023-24 red-hot, but with a string of injuries, the All-Star break couldn't have come at a better time as they look to asses the potential moves they can make.

New York targeting veteran forward?

According to David Pagnotta of the Fourth Period, the Rangers are eyeing a replacement for Filip Chytil, who was unfortunately ruled out for the remainder of the season with injury.
One player that Pagnotta linked to New York was Anaheim Ducks veteran Adam Henrique, who appears to be on the radar of no less than six teams looking to make a playoff run in 2023-24.
The Rangers are one of six teams linked to Adam Henrique in trade discussions, per David Pagnotta

A solid potential option for the Rangers

While Henrique at 33-years of age may not be the player he once was, he has tallied 15 goals and 32 points in 48 games for the Ducks this season, and with the playoff level talent around him that they have in New York, this would be a good move.
The Rangers are potentially in the market for an upgrade defensively ahead of the March 8 trade deadline, and with plenty of assets to potentially use, this is a team that's preparing to be very active as they chase a Stanley Cup victory.
