Jessica Campbell became the first woman to land full-time NHL coaching position, as the Seattle Kraken hired her as their assistant-coach.

After spending the past two seasons in the AHL with the Coachella Valley Firebirds, Jessica Campbell officially became the first woman to get a job as a full-time coach in the NHL.
Indeed, she was promoted by the Seattle Kraken.
From Ryan S. Clark:
"BREAKING: The Seattle Kraken have hired Jessica Campbell as an assistant coach which makes her the first woman in NHL history to be behind the bench. #SeaKraken"
Coach Campbell had a huge role in Coachella, and helped the team reach the Calder Cup Finals in the past two seasons.
She will be in a position to prove that she belongs in the NHL and get the chance to pave the way for more women in the League.
We wish her the best going forward in this new job!
More to come.
