Leafs Make Massive Lineup Changes In Response to Sabres Blowout
The Toronto Maple Leafs had one of their worst losses in recent history to the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday, losing 9-3 in an all-around poor effort. In response to this, Sheldon Keefe has made major changes to the top lines, notably reuniting Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews.
The move is intended to spark the second line, putting red-hot William Nylander with Tavares and Bertuzzi while reuniting Marner and Matthews to see if they can find success like the start of the year.
