Today more news has come in regarding Auston Matthews' health and potential for playing in tonight's Game 6 against the Boston Bruins. The update has cast a serious shadow over his chances of playing.

Reports this morning are confirming that Auston Matthews was once again on the ice. However, just like before Game 5 Auston Matthews skated on his own before team practice and then was not seen during the team portion of practice.
Auston Matthews skated at Scotiabank Arena earlier this morning and isn't on the ice now with #leafs teammates for the formal morning skate.

That's not an encouraging sign about his availability for Game 6.
A report from Mark Masters has also confirmed that Auston Matthews chances of playing are very slim after this morning's skate.
ALL IN - Auston Matthews was back on the ice early Thursday morning doing a session with Toronto's skills development staff.

But as @markhmasters reports, he appears doubtful for the Maple Leafs' must-win Game 6 against the Bruins:
Being without Auston Matthews for one game is an adversity that the Maple Leafs were able to overcome. However, losing hin for a second must-win game in a row could be a devastating blow to the Toronto Maple Leafs chances. As of now, Auston Matthews has not been officially ruled out. Once that announcement comes we will provide an update.
