The Toronto Maple Leafs face off against the St. Louis Blues tonight. However, the team will be without several of their most important players.

Leafs Lose Morgan Rielly For Five Games Due To Suspension

The NHL announced a five-game suspension for Morgan Rielly just hours before the game. As such, the 29-year-old blueliner will be serving the first game of this suspension tonight.
Toronto's Morgan Rielly has been suspended for five games for cross-checking Ottawa's Ridly Greig.
Rielly being out tonight was expected given that his hearing for the play was today. However, the team also announced some unexpected changes as other players are also unavailable.

Leafs Announce Tavares And Marner Both Out Due To Illness

NHL insider Chris Johnston was the first to report that both John Tavares and Mitch Marner will also be sidelined tonight as they are both dealing with an illness.
Mitch Marner and John Tavares are out of the #leafs lineup with illness tonight, while Morgan Rielly is unavailable due to his suspension.

Depth being tested in a big way.
As such, the Leafs will be without two of their core-four forwards as well as their top defenseman tonight. Be sure to tune in to see of the team is capable of pulling off a win despite these unfortunate circumstances.
