Muzzin spent a dozen seasons between the black and silver of the Los Angeles Kings where he won a Stanley Cup in 2014, and the blue and white of the Maple Leafs. When he arrived up north in 2019, Muzzin was a perennial 40 goal scorer, but also had the tenacity to the tune of his 715 hits and 488 blocked shots during that span.
He kept up the pace in Toronto with 81 points in 187 games, including 316 blocks and 376 knockouts, but his career was derailed due to several concussions and an injured spine.
He only played four games in 2022-23, retiring after that year. Yet he's still around, acting as a pro scout in the organization and this week, he made the most of his opportunity by offering words of wisdom to these ambitious professional athletes and future Leafs.
