Leafs nation furious after troubling video about Craig Berube surfaces

Within days of the announcement, disturbing information about Berube's past has started making the rounds.

Now, let's rewind to Berube's playing days in the NHL. He was known for being a tough, gritty player who didn't shy away from mucking this up on the ice. Unfortunately, he crossed a line back in '97 when he used a racial slur against an opponent during a game.

Berube got suspended for a game without pay for calling Florida Panthers Peter Worrell, who's black, a "monkey" during a game.

He's currently under investigation for allegedly making a racist gesture during Game 1 of their second round playoff series against the Vancouver Canucks, and fans are not holding back in calling for accountability.
