The Toronto Maple Leafs future includes some very talented names, but as of June 1st, they may be letting go of a player full of potential in Brandon Lisowsky.

From Fraser Minten to Nick Robertson to Easton Cowan, the Maple Leafs prospect pool is full of talented players that are expected to contribute at the NHL, but unfortunately not all prospects are seen in that manner. According to a report from Cap Friendly, Saskatoon Blades winger Brandon Lisowsky may be seen in that way, as his exclusive rights are reportedly up on June 1st, with little indication the Maple Leafs will be doing anything to change that.
Leafs prospect Brandon Lisowsky has yet to be signed. The Leafs are at risk of losing his exclusive rights if not signed by June 1st.

Lisowsky had 42 Goals and 38 Assists for 80 Points with the Saskatoon Blades this season. 😳💙
With 80 goals in his last 133 games in the WHL, Lisowsky certainly has the talent, but with his smaller stature standing at 5-foot-9, there's questions over his future at the next level. What can't be denied is his talent however, but with his exclusive rights being up if not signed by this weekend, the Maple Leafs may lose one of their most intriguing names.
Leaving it this late isn't a great sign for the Maple Leafs, but given his consistent rise in production, if they can find a way to develop a former seventh-round pick, it could be a huge bonus for this team moving forward, whether they see him as a future NHLer or a piece to use in a big time trade.
