Old video emerges of Craig Berube destroying Shanahan in a fight

An old video of Craig Berube's playing days emerged, in which we can see him absolutely destroying the Brendan Shanahan, his new boss with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Leafs finally confirmed the hiring of Craig Berube as their new head coach on Friday. Since then, people are looking up at what he did in his career, including his playing career.
Berube played 1086 NHL games for the Philadelphia Flyers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames, Washington Capitals and the New York Islanders between 1986 and 2003. In his career, he scored 159 points and tallied 3149 penalty minutes.
At least five of those minutes happened on a February night, back in 1989. Berube was a member of the Flyers and in a heated game agaisnt the New Jersey Devils, dropped the gloves against his new boss, Brendan Shanahan.
The following video surfaced online after Berube was hired by Shanahan and the Leafs:
"Throwback to when Craig Berube dropped the gloves against Brendan Shanahan on February 24, 1989...💙😅"
This shows that both men are passionate about hockey and like to compete fiercley. The Leafs need that mindset as they look to reach their ultimate goal of winning the Stanley Cup.
