NHL fans have been waiting patiently to see where beloved free agent Phil Kessel would end up in 2023-24, and now, we may finally have our answer.

Vancouver Canucks interested in landing Phil Kessel?

Even after acquiring Elias Lindholm, the Vancouver Canucks are still hard at work trying to land top tier talent, and now it has been revealed that are looking into the possibility of signing Phil Kessel.
For those asking, the #Canucks are still poking around UFA Phil Kessel.
While he was a healthy scratch throughout the Golden Knights Stanley Cup winning run, Kessel played in all 82 games a season ago, and even at 36-years of age, he managed to be a solid contributor. Kessel may not play both hard on ends of the ice like most players are expected too, but he knows his strength of goal scoring, as he tallied 14 goals and 32 points a season ago.
Canucks Head Coach Rick Tocchet was recently asked about Kessel, and unsurprisingly, he was full of praise for the three-time Stanley Cup Champion.
Rick Tocchet on Phil Kessel :"There's value in Phil, I think he can still play, 100 per cent."

That was last weekend in Toronto in Luke Fox article on Sportsnet.
The Canucks have one of the deepest rosters in the entire NHL, and the addition of Kessel is the type of low-risk, high-reward move that would help them chase the Stanley Cup, so keep an eye on this developing story.
