A Player Speak Out: Updates on the 2018 Canadian World Junior Championship Scandal:

Michael McLeod's lawyer just dropped some info, saying McLeod got charged but pleaded not guilty. He's standing firm, saying he didn't do anything wrong and will fight it.
He's the first of the bunch to speak up. We're still waiting to hear from McLeod's New Jersey Devils teammate Cal Foote, Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart, Dillon Dube of the Calgary Flames, and former Ottawa Senators player Alex Formenton. All men in question were teammates on that 2018 Gold Medal-winning team. All five have been directed to surrender to the police in London Ontario, where a press conference will be held on Monday.
The incident occurred at a celebratory Hockey Canada gala in June of that year.
