Russian hockey player Roman Zyryanov suddenly passes away at 18 years old

A new report has confirmed some terrible news that 18-year-old Roman Zyryanov who was a Russian hockey player has suddenly and tragically passed away.

The reports coming out of Russia have confirmed that Roman Zyryanov passed away suddenly due to an unfortunate circumstance. Since his passing the hockey world has come together to mourn the loss.

Roman Zyryanov's hockey career came to an end after the 2022-23 season where he played in the u18 league in Russia for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod. In his 2 games played that season he had 4 points.

Roman Zyryanov is the second player from Russia to pass away under sudden circumstances after 14-year-old Ivan Bazhenov who also played for the Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod organization passed away.
We wish the best to the families of both of these young men as they continue their journey through loss and grief.
