The Arizona Coyotes are putting together an elite prospect group, and while the prospects of the franchise off the ice are grim, on the ice, they have plenty of talent coming through.
Of all their young prospects, perhaps none excite fans more than Logan Cooley, who was drafted with the No. 3 overall pick back in 2022 out of the University of Minnesota.
In 39 games with Minnesota last season, Cooley dominated, tallying 22 goals and 38 assists for 60 points despite being just 19-years of age, and now, he's shocked the world again.
Despite reports that he was heading back to Minnesota for another year, Cooley has now seemingly turned the tables, and in a report confirmed by Elliotte Friedman, it appears he is ready to sign his ELC, forgoing any more time at Minnesota.
