The Arizona Coytes were looking to be the place that Adam Ruzicka reinvented his career after struggling in 2023-24 with the Calgary Flames, but unfortunately, it was so much worse for the young Slovakian forward.

Adam Ruzicka opens up on controversy that cost him his NHL Contract

Unfortunately, not long after he arrived in Arizona, Ruzicka would have his contract officially terminated after incriminating himself with a video on social media.
The Arizona Coyotes have placed forward Adam Ruzicka on unconditional waivers for purposes of terminating his contract. The Club will have no further comment at this time.
Now, the 24-year old has officially opened up about the event that caused his contract termination, fully taking responsibility for what happened, with the hope that he can one day resume his career at the top level.
"I made a big mistake and I will learn from it," vowed the former NHL forward. "I love you all and will be forever grateful. Adam."

Ultimately, at just 24-years of age, he's got a long time ahead of him in his hockey career, and if he can somehow rebuild his reputation, he's shown that he can contribute with 40 points in 117 NHL games, so we will keep an eye on Ruzicka and see how the next few months play out for him.
