New angle just dropped of Sam Bennett punching Marchand in the face
Today Brad Marchand addressed the media. He was asked about the hit that led to his injury and said while the hit was not clean he does not hold any grudge toward Sam Bennett.
Brad Marchand on Sam Bennett's punch:

«I think he got away with a shot. But I'm not gonna complain. Shit happens. I've been on the other side of a lot of plays. That's part of the game, part of playoff hockey. Sucks to be on the other side of it, but that stuff happens."
Brad Marchand knows that this is part of playoff hockey and has been the aggressor of this type of situation many times. Now seeing it from the other side is not fun but Brad Marchand is not going to complain. With him addressing the media again it feels as if he is close to a return.
All eyes will be on the Boston Bruins' morning skate to see if Brad Marchand is a participant in practice. His status will be determined likely in warmups. As his game status is revealed we will provide all the latest updates.
