Former NHL player PK Subban, now an ESPN analyst, revealed how he felt about Sam Bennett of the Florida Panthers, drilling Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand in Game 3 of their series and knocking him out indefinitely.

Subban didn't hold back, saying that Marchand has been on the winning side of many battles in hockey, but this time, he was the one who took a hit. He even compared Marchand to the hydrant instead of the dog, which is definitely a unique way to put it.
Brad Marchand as long as I've been in hockey I won a gold medal with him at 18, playing in the World Juniors. I've seen him get over on hundreds of players. This was one moment where he was the hydrant not the dog. This was a moment where he was the guy who got the windshield. So I think for Brad Marchand, probably a long time coming for him. It's unfortunate he got knocked out of the series but that's a part of the game. It's a part of hockey and these things are going to happen.

What's even more intriguing is the history between Subban and Marchand. Subban laid a massive hit on Marchand back in 2010.
And then they ended up fighting on the ice in 2012? It's clear these two have some history, and it adds another layer to the situation.
It's always fascinating to hear what former players turned analysts have to say about moments like these.
