The Oilers will head into game three with a big advantage as Vancouver will miss Carson Soucy, but coach Rick Tocchet believes Zach Hyman should be suspended too.
The round two matchup between the Oilers and Canucks has been an absolute war thus far, highlighted by the end of game scuffle in game three, which resulted in a suspension to Carson Soucy.
Now, Head Coach Rick Tocchet has pointed out a video that surfaced of the incident, which saw Edmonton's Zach Hyman cross-check Nikita Zadorov to the face, as he calls on the NHL to suspend the veteran forward.
In his presser Tocchet mentioned the league had a couple things to look at including a Hyman cross check. Has to be this one below. I'm told Zadorov needed stitches to close up a cut on his face. #canucks
Given that game three takes place on Tuesday night, it's highly unlikely that the NHL will hear the plea and do anything about it, and given how physical of a war this series has been thus far, don't be shocked if the Canucks look to get payback on their own.
