Boston Bruins forward, Patrick Maroon, released a statement on the upcoming series against rival Maple Leafs.
Patrick Maroon was quoted saying,
"This is the time to see who has it and who doesn't."
The three time Stanley Cup Champion joined the Bruins on March 8th coming from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for forward, Luke Toporowski and a conditional sixth round pick in 2026.
At the time of the trade Maroon was uncertain to make it back to the NHL before the end of the season after back surgery on February 6. The veteran forward has made a full recovery and made his debut with the Bruins on April 13th against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Maroon looks to make a major impact on the Boston Bruins and will likely play a key role against their first round opponents, the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have boosted their lineup grit and tenacity.
