Yesterday Calgary Flames forward Martin Pospisil met with the NHL's Department of Player Safety to discuss his actions during a recent game. As a result of the meeting, Pospisil has now been suspended.
Pospisil Suspended For A Nasty Hit On Kraken Defenseman
During the Flames game against the Seattle Kraken Martin Pospisil was forechecking. He came flying in to hit Kraken defenseman Adam Larsson and ended up hitting him in the back into the boards.

Pospisil was ejected from the game which then began rumblings about a potential suspension. Eventually a hearing for Pospisil was announced for Wednesday.
Calgary's Martin Pospisil will have a hearing tomorrow for boarding Seattle's Vince Dunn.
As a result of that hearing a ruling has now come down. Martin Pospisil will be suspended for 3 games according to reports.
The Flames will now need to find a way to replace Pospisil's presence in the lineup for a few games while he is out. With the trade deadline approaching it will be interesting to see if the Flames make any moves to address their lack of depth up front.
