Chicago Blackhawks Announce Major Update For Bedard
Over the last several days Chicago Blackhawks rookie phenom Connor Bedard has been seen back on the ice. He has been skating on his own with a bubble cage on his face. Bedard attempted to practice with the team but was kicked off the ice and eventually skated on his own.
Nick Foligno on Connor Bedard skating three separate times today: "He was laughing. He went out, got kicked off, goes back out for the goalies, then got kicked off for practice, and then he's going back out now again." #Blackhawks
With so many Bedard sightings the question came up from the media about his potential return. Unfortunately, the Blackhawks confirmed that Bedard is still a long while away from a return.
Luke Richardson clarifies that Connor Bedard's timetable hasn't changed. Six weeks is still in the original timetable.
"Talk to me in a month," he said.
Despite seeing Bedard around he will not be returning soon. Blackhawk and NHL fans will be waiting patiently for such an exciting young player to be back on the ice. One thing that has been confirmed over the last few days is that even when injured Connor Bedard is willing to outwork anyone.
