Blackhawks Force Overtime With Buzzer Beater Goal

It seemed as though the Jets would easily be able to hold off the last place Blackhawks as the team lead for large portions of the game. However, Blackhawks center Tyler Johnson found the back of the net in the dying seconds of the 3rd period, forcing overtime.

Raddysh Gets Minor Penalty For High Hit On Connor Hellebuyck

About halfway through the game, Blackhawks forward Taylor Raddysh got a minor penalty for an illegal check to the head on Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck. The forward was skating past the goaltender serving as a screen but he got a little too close and clipped the goalie in the mask.
Luckily, Hellebuyck was able to stay in the game. He would go on to make 33 saves in the victory for Winnipeg.
