When he was sitting at the bench, alongside his teammate Nick Foligno, both players exchanged a few words that we thought were pretty funny.
Here's what Foligno said to Bedard:
"There's so much to teach you I don't have enough contract time. I'm gonna have to stay in Chicago like five more years after I retire."
Foligno's contract is set to expire after the current season. With only 16 games remaining to the season, we could be seeing one of the last stretch of the Bedard-Foligno duo on the ice.
However, Foligno clearly expressed his desire to stay alongside Bedard to continue teaching him.
With that in mind, another expansion with the Hawks could be a great decision for eveyone involved.
