According to Public Models, the Leafs odds should be just as good if not better than some of these teams. According to Moneypuck's model, the Leafs have a better chance of winning the cup than Vegas, Winnipeg, and Boston.

That being said, this list is likely biased due to the recency of the trade deadline. Teams like Vegas and Carolina got big boosts from the moves they made. Meanwhile the Leafs only added depth pieces. Perhaps the team would be in the top-ten if they made a big move.
