This isn't that shocking, however, it could have been interesting to see Perry return to the Tampa Bay Lightning for another post-season with the team.
Perry Could Return to the NHL as Soon as Next Week
Seravalli also revealed that Perry could make his return with the Oilers as soon as this week, as long as a deal gets finalized in the way it is currently trending. Perry has been reportedly skating and training during his break.
