The Edmonton Oilers are in the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in 18 years after dispatching the top-seeded Dallas Stars in six games, led by Connor McDavid's magic.

Post triumph, fans spotted McDavid at a liquor store in Edmonton, but he wasn't in a party mood. He just wanted to get his beers and go home.
With fellow stars like Leon Draisaitl and Evan Bouchard on board, McDavid's got his eyes set on the prize: winning those last four games to lift the Stanley Cup and almost nothing will deter him from it being his focus.
They've come a long way from being 32nd in the league earlier this season, especially with new coach Kris Knoblauch in the mix.
Sure, maybe McDavid could've handled the fan situation a better, but hey, can you blame him for being laser-focused on the series which begins Saturday against the Florida Panthers in Sunrise. However, that doesn't excuse the fans either as they pressed and followed him to his car even though he clearly wasn't in the mood to talk. The man is a human being and is constantly in the spotlight. He deserves some alone time.
