Staal Brothers Decline to Wear Pride Jerseys
Eric and Marc Staal, two well-known NHL brothers, have chosen not to wear Pride jerseys during the warm-up session before the Florida Panthers' game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
In a shared statement, both Staals explained their decision, attributing it to their religious beliefs.

The Panthers had previously expressed their support for the jerseys, which are intended to demonstrate solidarity with the LGBT+ community. Head Coach Paul Maurice commented on the initiative, saying,
We have decided, and rightfully so, to move forward with it and support it and celebrate it.
As of now, the Panthers have not issued a statement regarding the Staal brothers' decision.
The long-standing NHL brothers have lost a lot of fans.
