Major details on the Florida Panthers' delayed flight to Edmonton emerged after a storm forced their plane to stay on the ground for many hours.

Yesterday, many people followed the Panthers' flight as a big storm in Florida forced the organization to delay their departure to Edmonton ahead of the Stanley Cup Finals' Game 3.
After a few hours of waiting, the plane eventually left for Edmonton:
"WATCH: Florida Panthers plane takes off amidst severe flooding and thunderstorms in the Miami area."
Around four hours later, the Panthers landed in Edmonton, letting fans and the league breathe a sigh of relief:
"The Florida Panthers have arrived in Edmonton."
In the end, the Panthers didn't have to change many things in their schedule ahead of Game 3 and should be able to leave it all on the ice tonight.
As for the Oilers, they got two days of rest, sleeping at home, and should be ready to bounce back from their tough start. The game will be crucial, as the Oilers could find themselves only one loss away from being eliminated if they're not careful.
