Fans were caught off guard when they learned the package included Matthew Tkachuk's game-used mouthguard from the playoff run.
Known for chewing on his mouthguard rather than wearing it properly, Tkachuk's habit has become somewhat of a signature. His mouthguard often looks more like a chew toy than protective gear.
One of the most talked about mouthguards in hockey history has made its way to the Hall of Fame 🌟
Now, this quirky piece of memorabilia will be enshrined in the Hockey Hall of Fame, forever representing the Panthers' Stanley Cup victory.
No matter what happens in Tkachuk's career, a part of him will always be immortalized in hockey history.
