The Nashville Predators are surprisingly once again battling for a playoff spot in 2023-24, but that doesn't mean they won't be looking to deal one big star ahead of the March 8 trade deadline.

Juuse Saros available ahead of the trade deadline?

According to a report, Vezina caliber goaltender Juuse Saros could be available at the trade deadline, and given the contenders that need help in net, he may land Nashville a haul.
As detailed by TSN's Pierre Lebrun, it's unlikely that the team are actively moving him, and may not trade him unless they're blown away, but from the report, it appears they are listening to offers.
"My understanding is that [Barry] Trotz won't hang up the phone if a team makes a serious, serious offer for the 28-year-old Saros. That doesn't mean the call would lead to a trade, but the Preds feel they have to at least listen and consider the possibility." - LeBrun on Saros' potential availability in Nashville

A blockbuster incoming?

Alongside Calgary's Jacob Markstrom and potentially one of the Boston Bruins star pair, Saros is the best goaltender available at the trade deadline, and if New Jersey, Toronto or Edmonton get desperate enough, this could be the route to take.
Ultimately, it's unlikely that Nashville trade Saros unless they get a massive haul in return, but if team's get desperate, the Predators are ready and willing to take advantage of other front office's.
