In breaking news, the NHL has given its verdict on Jacob Trouba's dirty hit against Vegas Golden Knights' Dorofeyev.

Trouba Given Verdict For Dity Hit on Dorofeyev

Jacob Touba is well known for the physical game that he brings every night, as fans have dubbed his hits the 'Trouba Train'. However, this has seemed to catch up with him, as he delivered a dirty hit last night to Vegas' Pavel Dorofeyev. He was immediately hit this morning with a hearing by the Department of Player Safety.
NY Rangers' Jacob Trouba will have a hearing today for elbowing Vegas' Pavel Dorofeyev.
Here is a video of the hit, which went pretty unnoticed to those watching the game last night as it occurred during a faceoff away from the puck.
There's something kinda funny about Trouba finally getting dinged, and it being on a hit that no one really noticed in real-time
Now, it has been determined that Trouba will be suspended for 2 games.
This is interesting from the NHL's Department of Player Safety, given the scrutiny they have faced as of late for their decision to suspend Brendan Gallagher for just 5 games after his dirty hit.
Do you think the NHL Department of Player Safety is consistent with their punishments?
