A former NHLer, who played more than 770 games in the NHL, is officially coming back to the team that drafted him in 2006.
Following a year abroad, Artem Anisimov officially announced his comeback to North American pro hockey. He signed a professional tryout with the Hartford Wold Pack, the Rangers' AHL affiliate.
He could be a valuable addition to the Rangers, if he performs well in the AHL. Last season, he had a great year with the Flyers' AHL farm team, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
