The Pittsburgh Penguins and St. Louis Blues have been quiet in recent times, and now they've made a puzzling trade involving four draft picks.

After a quiet few weeks on NHL news, the Pittsburgh Penguins and St. Louis have now made a surprise deal, with the Penguins sending a second and a fifth to the Blues in exchange for two thirds.
Now, we may know exactly why the Blues made this deal, as they have now made not one but two offer sheets for the Edmonton Oilers targeted at young standouts Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg.
That comes from NHL Insider Frank Seravalli, and according to his report, the Oilers now have seven days to officially match the offers, or they risk losing two rising stars for very little return, with both likely to be featured prominently this year if they remain in Edmonton. There have been fears for quite some time that this could happen to the Oilers, with the reported numbers for the offer sheet being two-years, $2.3 million for Holloway and two-years, $4.6 million for Broberg.
Continue following along as this fascinating story updates, with the Oilers having some big decisions to make over the coming weeks as they look to continue their charge to the Stanley Cup, while St. Louis look to add two intriguing young names to their talented roster.
